Los desarrolladores de ESO preparan nuevo MMO

Los desarrolladores de The Elder Scrolls Online, Zenimax Online Studios, están planeando un nuevo juego en línea multijugador. Es probable que se desarrolle para PC, PS4 y XBox One.

¿Cómo se sabe del nuevo juego?

Zenimax Online todavía no anuncia detalles sobre el desarrollo de un nuevo MMO, pero ya están buscando un programador a través de jobs.zenimax.com.

Esta persona debería desarrollar el motor central para el nuevo proyecto. Eso significa que el proyecto está todavía en pañales.

Esto nos dice el anuncio de trabajo sobre el nuevo juego:

El nuevo juego aparentemente está basado en una «nueva emocionante IP». Así que no es una marca conocida por el momento. Entonces, no estamos hablando de un posible «Fallout Online» o «The Elder Scrolls Online 2».
Está planeado para PS4, Xbox One y PC, ya que buscan un desarrollador con experiencia en estas plataformas.
Es un MMO. Entre las habilidades buscadas, Zenimax desea que la persona tenga experiencia en el desarrollo de MMOs.

Aparentemente también están pensando en la posibilidad de usar motores como Unreal o Crytek/Lumberyard.

Zenimax Online

El único MMO que ha desarrollado Zenimax es The Elder Scrolls Online. Este se lanzó en 2014 para PC y luego en 2015 para PS4 y Xbox One. El socio principal de Zenimax Media es Bethesda, conocidos por The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Doom, Rage, Wolfenstein y otros.

Si bien Zenimax sigue trabajando en The Elder Scrolls Online con su nueva expansión y oficialmente no ha anunciado ningún proyecto nuevo hasta el momento, queda por verse si van a dividir al equipo de trabajo entre ESO y el nuevo MMO, o contratarán nuevos empleados que se dediquen al nuevo proyecto.
