Como de costumbre, un trailer detallará el argumento y el contenido disponible con este nuevo episodio.

 

En este nuevo episodio, titulado Una sombra en el hielo, los jugadores explorarán nuevos paisajes helados en el norte de las Picas Escalofriantes y se enfrentarán a un jefe mundial épico llamado Drakkar, heredado de Guild Wars. Además, podrán descubrir nuevas actividades, ya que algunos de los sistemas introducidos en el primer episodio han sido revisados.

 

El mapa de la frontera de Bjora es para la ocasión ampliado, una evolución del lado de ArenaNet que solía ofrecer un nuevo mapa por episodio. Esta vez, los jugadores ayudarán a su aliado Braham a cumplir su destino profético después de una tragedia familiar.

 

Una sombra en el hielo Segundo episodio

 

Además de una historia que trata sobre los misteriosos Espíritus de la Naturaleza que adoran los noruegos y su relación con el ancestral dragón Jormag, Una sombra en el hielo aporta una serie de novedades, entre las que se incluyen las siguientes:

 

  • Una extensión de la frontera de Bjora, un mapa introducido en el primer episodio, que casi duplica su tamaño, con nuevas recompensas y áreas para explorar.
  • Nuevos niveles para los cursos de maestría «Manipulación de Esencias» y «Afinidad con el Cuervo».
  • Una nueva misión de ataque en la que los jugadores se enfrentarán a los murmullos que invaden sus mentes y a la fuerza siniestra que hay detrás de ellos.
  • Los eventos Koda, una serie de eventos de carta multinivel, se disparan alternativamente, con éxitos únicos.
  • Un nuevo y mejorado tercer nivel para el Conjunto de Armas Boreales Antiguas.
  • Un nuevo juego de armadura Raven que hasta ahora estaba reservado a los PNJ.
  • Un nuevo jefe mundial: Drakkar, el campeón de Jormag, que ha estado atrapado bajo un lago congelado durante siglos.

Como todos los episodios de Living World, Una sombra en el hielo será gratis para todos los jugadores de Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire que inicien sesión en el juego después de su lanzamiento.
